Why Believing in Yourself Matters More Than Other People's Approval
Dear Royal Friend,
Do you ever feel like you're not getting enough support or validation from those around you? Maybe even from the ones you expect to be there for you the most? If so, you're not alone. Many of us have experienced feeling alone and unsupported at some point in our lives. But here's the thing: you don't need anyone else to believe in you. You have everything it takes within yourself to achieve your goals and dreams.
Regardless of whether you're aiming to achieve career success, or perhaps pursue fame as a singer or dancer, or even be an entrepreneur and start up your own business, it's common to encounter a lack of direct support from friends and acquaintances. Funny, but It often happens that as humans, we tend to connect more instantly with strangers rather than with friends we have known from school or the place where we grew up. Surprisingly, we tend to support these strangers more than the person dear to us. Why does this happen? Why is it that we are more likely to support someone we don't know than someone who is familiar to us?
It may seem paradoxical, but it is in fact a reflection of our natural sense of competition when we are around people frequently and get to actually know them better. While some people observe others as positive role models and learn from their experiences to achieve personal growth, unfortunately, the majority tend to feel envious. And here’s the thing, that is all you need to acknowledge - remember that this envy is not about you, it's about their own insecurities!
Seeing your achievements can be like looking in a mirror that reminds these people of what they could have done better in their own lives. Never forget that this is not a reflection of your own value or worth.
You know, I used to dream of becoming a pilot. But people around me laughed, and my own family didn't take me seriously. Given my background in a third world country and limited economic means, it seemed impossible. However, I refused to give up. After months of hard work, I managed to enroll in a private pilot academy, thanks to a bank loan that I miraculously secured despite my financial situation. I somehow convinced the bank clerk that I could repay the loan. And so, I fulfilled my dream and earned my private pilot license. Today, I can fly small planes as a hobby. It may sound incredible, but with determination and perseverance, anything is possible.
Remember that reactions and support from others do not define our worth or value. The amount of support we receive or the number of people cheering us on does not determine our success or value as a person. Many people are going through their own struggles and may not always be in the right headspace to understand or empathize with our mindset or goals. It's crucial to be kind to ourselves, take care of our own mental and emotional health, and keep striving towards our goals with faith and trust in ourselves.
When it comes to achieving our goals and realizing our dreams, the most important validation and belief come from within ourselves. We have everything we need inside us to succeed, and we should not let the opinions or actions of others affect our belief in ourselves.
Believing in ourselves is fundamental to achieving our goals and pursuing our passions. It's important to remember that our value and worth come from within, and we don't need anyone else's approval or validation to determine our success. Keep putting yourself out there, follow your intuition, and never give up on your dreams and passions. Remember that you have everything you need inside you to succeed, and with persistence, determination, and belief in yourself, nothing can stop you!
Luv ya,
